New poster on AI for drug discovery for muscular dystrophies
At Myology 2024, Emilie PELLIER & Quentin MIAGOUX from i-Stem presented our collaboration on AI powered target and drug discovery for LGMDR2

Using AI together with patient-derived stem cells significantly accelerates the discovery of treatments for rare diseases.
At the international congress dedicated to neuromuscular science, MYOLOGY 2024, has taken place in Paris on April 22th-25th, 2024.
Emilie Pellier and Dr. Quentin MIAGOUX (from our partner I-Stem) presented our successful project on limb-girdle muscular dystrophy-2 (LGMDR2), a rare neuromuscular disease.
The poster was entitled "Drug screening and AI-based target identification: a PoC study on LGMDR2".
This work forms the basis of our broader efforts to develop and use AI to discover new drug targets and drugs to treat severe diseases without an approved treatment.
